In this solo episode we are going in-depth into an incredible and sometimes-overlooked meditation practice- Yoga Nidra. Given that anxiety, trauma, and just the general stress of living in this world causes so many people to have difficulty falling asleep or trouble sleeping through the night, I felt like this was such an important thing to talk about right now!
Yoga Nidra is an incredible tool and practice that allows your body to receive deep rest and through that, the body can begin its natural processes of repairing and healing itself. Yoga Nidra ALSO helps if you have trouble sleeping, as it deeply relaxes the body, mind and nervous system. It is actually an ancient practice that, even if you only try it out for 30 minutes, you awaken feeling as if you've slept a full night's sleep. We all need more of this in our lives!
